About

Familiar Defense Systems

Familiar Defense Systems, Inc., based in Austin, Texas, is a dual-use company that designs counter-UAS and protective systems for military programs and civilian domestic use. For civilian customers, the work is offered in a simpler form for individual and local security, without a military employment model. Across both markets, FDS emphasizes identity-bound platforms, hard local safeguards, and systems built to be charged, kept, and recalled rather than left continuously exposed.
